Referat von entwicklungspsychologischen, biologischen, technikgeschichtlichen, gesellschaftlichen, wirtschaftlichen und anderen wissenschaftlichen Arbeiten, einzig und allein, um vermeintlich die These zu stützen, die Empathie (Zugewandtheit) sei im Menschen und den Primaten angelegt und führe zu einem globaleren und ökologischeren Bewusstsein. Die referierten Inhalte lassen sich in spezifischen Fachbüchern besser rezipieren, die These ist lediglich illustriert, nicht bewiesen, da Rifkin (zuletzt "Der europäische Traum", BA 11/04) sich nicht einmal um die Gegenentwürfe Egoismus, Konkurrenz und Konflikt kümmert. Wen wundert's, wenn die Utopie, auf welche die These hinsteuert, gerade einmal 7 Seiten umfasst? (Jürgen Plieninger)
