Content: In the Industrial Revolution 4.0 (IR 4.0), the role of higher education (HE) stays crucial for the development of highly skilled human resources in the multi-service sector. Indeed, the pharmaceutical education quality in higher education is significant for building a quality workforce in the healthcare service sectors. Additionally, the increasingly global education market required the ongoing increase of quality in higher education. This study investigates the driving factors of student satisfaction in Pharmacy education at private universities in Vietnam. Both qualitative and quantitative approaches are used in this study. For quantitative research, the surveyed questionnaire is developed and is the primary instrument. Besides, focus groups, semi-structured in-depth interviews with experts, and meta-analysis are applied instruments for qualitative research. The sample is 265 students from 3 private universities. The driving factors of student satisfaction are (1) Educational program, (2) University Reputation, (3) Business Interaction, (4) Extracurricular activities, and (5) Teaching facilitators activities. Eventually, the authors propose the suggestions for both academic and practical perspectives; simultaneously, the limitation is discussed for further research.

Series Statement: Studies and Perspectives Series – The Caribbean 67
Content: This study examines the impact of de-risking on the study countries—bank and non-bank sectors. The study approach is based on survey instruments, consultations and analysis of secondary data. The impacts that have been observed, to date, have generally been discounted in most analysis as “anecdotal” and not valid for “reliable inference”1. However, in small economies such as those in this study what is anecdotal may be indeed reasonable for inference. The typically small number of banks as well as their dominance in the financial sectors of these small states suggests that reduced banking services will have knock on effects on other activities and sectors. In this regard, unlike most studies that cast a broad geographical net in attempting to assess the impact of the withdrawal of CBS, this study focuses on three countries which facilitates the “drilling down” and “zooming in” on the experience with de-risking.

Content: This article reconstructs, from a transnational and cultural history, the way in which Boston and Buenos Aires early introduced a system of underground railway for urban public transport which was invented and applied originally in London (1863), becoming Boston the first in the Americas (1897) and Buenos Aires (1913) the first in South America with this transport system. It observes how ideas, capital, expert, technologies of transport circulate between Europe and the Americas. How material, political, and cultural aspects shaped urban infrastructures is also explored. Moreover, it discusses the contribution of the historical perspective to analyse the global circulation of infrastructures and its territorialization in cities between late 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century.

Content: This study focuses on the identification of the challenges and capacity constraints faced by enterprises in the sub-region in exploiting trade opportunities provided by Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) and Partial Scope Agreements (PSAs). It concentrates on the goods sector and case studies for Belize, Suriname, and Trinidad and Tobago, and seeks to develop a strategic framework aimed at addressing these challenges and constraints, thereby creating a platform for economic diversification and export expansion. It explores the recent trade performance of the countries in question under selected trade agreements; identifies challenges and constraints faced by exporters in these countries; and presents possible avenues for strengthening export expansion both at the intensive and extensive margins.
