Der Film rekonstruiert die 24 Prozesstage, an denen Adolf Hitler 1924 wegen seines missglückten Putschversuchs in München (8./9.11.1923) vor dem Volksgericht stand. Anschaulich demonstriert er, wie der vorsitzende Richter, offensichtlich ein Sympathisant der Putschisten, dem Angeklagten Zeit und Redefreiheit einräumt und ihn über die "Novemberverbrecher", die Demokratie und die Weimarer Verfassung schwadronieren lässt. Das Doku-Spiel hält sich eng an die stenografierten Reden und Plädoyers des Prozesses, rekapituliert den Putschversuch und umreißt das politische Umfeld des Prozesses. [film-dienst]
