Laura Maire, geboren 1979 in München, absolvierte ihre Ausbildung an der Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst in Frankfurt. Bekannt wurde sie durch eine Hauptrolle in der ARD-Vorabendserie "Verdammt verliebt". Sie synchronisierte u. a. Brie Larson in "Raum" (2016 mit einem Oscar ausgezeichnet) und Ashley Greene (als Alice Cullen) in der "Twilight"-Reihe. Daneben war sie immer wieder in "How I Met Your Mother" zu hören. Maire erhielt 2011 den Deutschen Hörbuchpreis als Beste Interpretin. 2014 las sie für den Hörverlag den Thriller "Schattengrund" von Elisabeth Herrmann und erhielt für ihr "virtuoses Sprach-Spiel" noch einmal den Deutschen Hörbuchpreis als Beste Interpretin.
