Abstract:
Marie-France Bishop, IUFM du Nord-Pas-de-Calais, THÉODILE. Writing on oneself in primary school is rather rarely regarded as a specific type of activity. However it shows recurrent features and is in keeping with a history connected with the transformations in the conceptions of the writing activity at school. This article aims to draft out the essential characteristics of a genuine progression during which the actual experience of pupils is more or less called up, depending on the aims of the teaching sessions. Two objectives are alternately chosen : writing in order to learn how to produce texts or writing about oneself. Depending on the choice that is made or on the priorities given to the activity, writing on oneself takes a more or less recognized place.
