Abstract:
Spin-echo 59 Co NMR is employed to detect magnetically distinct components in a Co–Cr thin film. Magnetic components with different values of the anisotropy field can be detected by measuring spin-echo intensity as a function of rf pulse field applied to the sample. For a film deposited at 400°C, two magnetic components are observed. The chemical composition is estimated for each component from the NMR frequency spectra.
