Nach "Tage des Zorns" (ID-A 47/11) über die Umbrüche in der arabischen Welt im Jahr 2011 beschäftigt sich Michael Lüders (Orientalist, langjähriger Nahost-Korrespondent der "Zeit", heute Schriftsteller und Medienexperte) mit einem möglichen Angriffskrieg der westlichen Welt gegen den Iran. Unter plakativen Überschriften ("Wie der Westen seine Zukunft verspielt" oder "Der Countdown [zum Krieg] läuft") vermittelt er den Eindruck, als sei dieser Krieg unabweisbar, als wäre er für "die" Politiker und "die" Printmedien beschlossene Sache. Angesichts dieser Ausgangsposition gehen Infos wie über das amerikanisch-iranische Verhältnis seit den 1950er-Jahren, über westliche Militärinterventionen in der Region oder über das deutsch-israelische Verhältnis fast unter. Plakativ und dadurch Aufmerksamkeit erzielend, aber zu einseitig. (2)
