    Inhalt: Helmut Kohl war mit seinen politischen Rivalen gelegentlich privat unterwegs, so mit Franz Josef Strauß auf einer Tour durch die bayerischen Berge. Die beiden wurden von einem Gebirgsregen überrascht, der Fels wurde gefährlich schlüpfrig, und Strauß war nicht sicher, ob er sich den restlichen Aufstieg zumuten sollte. Da nahm Kohl seinen Begleiter kurzentschlossen huckepack und meisterte die letzten fünfzig Meter mit Strauß auf dem Rücken - an hohen Steilwänden entlang, die senkrecht abfielen. Welch hohes Risiko er damit einging, wurde Kohl erst im Nachhinein bewusst. Kohl regierte die Bundesrepublik 16 Jahre lang und damit länger als jeder andere Bundeskanzler. Er wird immer als Kanzler der Einheit in Erinnerung bleiben. Dieses Buch gibt in kleinen Anekdoten Einblicke in das Leben des großen Politikers. Christoph Spöcker wurde 1984 im Schwarzwald geboren. Nach dem Abitur studierte er unter anderem Germanistik in Freiburg und Amerikanische Literatur in Innsbruck. Er lebt heute als freischaffender Autor in Kempten und hat eine sechsjährige Tochter.
