Kapitalmarktorientierte Unternehmen in Europa müssen ihre Konzernbilanzen seit 2005 nach den internationalen Rechnungslegungsregeln IAS/IFRS aufstellen. Diese werden von dem privaten Fachgremium IASB in London erarbeitet und von der EU durch ein besonderes Verfahren ("Endorsement") bindend übernommen. -- Karl-Philipp Wojcik untersucht umfassend die Europarechtskonformität des Endorsement. Detailliert zeigt er rechtliche Schwachstellen dieses Legislativverfahrens auf und macht Verbesserungsvorschläge. Darüber hinaus stellt er ein System konkreter rechtlicher Vorgaben für die Anwendung und die Auslegung der übernommenen IAS/IFRS auf, das künftig für die Wissenschaft und Praxis grundlegend ist.
