    Content: Die als Fadosängerin bekannt gewordene Portugiesin Carminho (d.i. Maria do Carmo de Carvalho Rebelo de Andrade) wurde von der Familie des brasilianischen Komponisten Antônio Carlos Jobim (1927-1994) eingeladen, dessen Stücke neu aufzunehmen. Tom Jobim war einer der wichtigsten Musiker des Landes in der Blütezeit der MPB (Musica Popular Brasileira) und der Bossa Nova. Zusammen mit hochkarätigen Musikern wie Jacques Morelenbaum (Cello), den Söhnen Jobims und Co-Sängern wie Chico Buarque, Marisa Monte und Maria Bethania (alle ihrerseits Ikonen der brasilianischen Musik) gelang ihr ein intimes und intensives Album, das die Qualitäten von Jobims Stücken auch heute noch zum Leuchten bringt.
