Band der Reihe nach dem bewährten Prinzip verfahren. Eine übersichtliche Anzahl von Fragen, jeweils auf einer Doppelseite abgehandelt, auf der ein großes Foto erläuterndem Text gegenüber steht. Aufgelockert durch einen witzigen Comic zu jeder Frage und die kontroverse Minirubrik "Übrigens", in welcher ein spezieller Aspekt häufig noch einmal betont wird. Die wachsende Zahl der Bände spricht für den Erfolg der Reihe, die sich für Bibliotheken weiterhin gut empfehlen lässt. Natürlich kann man aber auch mal ein Thema auslassen, wenn schon Vergleichbares im Bestand ist. Nicht immer wollen Kinder allein über Fragen an ein Thema herangeführt werden, manche bevorzugen auch mehr Bildergeschichten und einfachere Erklärungen. Hierzu sollte man das Leseverhalten in seiner Bibliothek einmal beobachten.. - Wer waren die alten Ägypter? Warum werden "Mumien" so genannt? Hatten die Ägypter Haustiere?
