Im Kunstgewerbemuseum der Staatlichen Museen zu Berlin befinden sich drei Lanzettfenster, ehemals Teil der Sammlung Albert von Oppenheim, die als wichtige Kölner Glasmalerei der 1340er Jahre gelten. Als einer der beiden knienden Stifter ist der Erzbischof Walram von Jülich aufgrund zweier Wappen und seiner Kleidung identifiziert worden. Unklarheit herrscht aber über die kniende Stifterin, zwei weitere Wappen und den ursprünglichen Aufstellungsort sowie die Motive des Stifters und die historischen Bezüge seiner Schenkung. Die hier dargelegten Beobachtungen, historischen Argumente und motivischen Vergleiche mit dem wenig später entstandenen Klaren-Retabel lassen in der Stifterin die Mitbegründerin des Kölner Klosters St. Clara, Richardis von Geldern, erkennen, in den beiden Wappen den Löwen der Grafschaft Geldern und den Pfeil des Ortes Straelen sowie als ursprünglichen Aufstellungsort das 1804 zerstörte Klarissenkloster. Die erzbischöfliche Fensterstiftung erweist sich als dynastisch motiviert und in zeitlicher Nähe zur Erhebung der Grafen von Geldern in den erblichen Herzogsstand. Neben stilistischen ist aus historischen Gründen eine Datierung von Absicht, Auftrag und Anfertigung des Glasmalerei-Ensembles in der Zeit zwischen 1336 und 1345 zu erschließen.
