Abstract:
(Abstracted from Am J Obstet Gynecol 2020;223:729.e1–729.e10) Interest has grown since the discovery of the bladder urobiome in determining whether the microbiota in the urobiome play a role in clinical phenotyping and provide opportunities for novel therapeutic approaches for women with the 2 most common forms of urinary incontinence (UI): stress UI (SUI) and urgency UI (UUI). However, previous studies have focused predominantly on UUI, and thus, studies on SUI have been lacking.
