Abstract:
Emodin (1) ist eine Schlüsselverbindung für die Biosynthese biologisch aktiver Stoffwechselprodukte von Schimmelpilzen. Einige dieser Produkte entstehen durch oxidative Öffnung des mittleren Ringes im Anthrachinongerüst. Es gelang jetzt, in Anlehnung an diese biochemische Reaktion Emodin (1) im Reagensglas mit hohen Ausbeuten in Seco‐anthrachinone (2) zu überführen magnified image .
