4 Kinder aus verschiedenen Gegenden Englands zwischen 9 und 12 Jahren verbringen ihre Ferien in einem Märchenschloss in Schottland. Sie entdecken, dass ihre "Bastelarbeiten" nachts verpackt und abgeholt werden. Das geht natürlich nicht gut. In einer dramatischen Nacht werden sie überrumpelt und eingesperrt, da sie das lukrative Geschäft der "Erzieher" aufzudecken drohen. Mithilfe Außenstehender findet alles ein gerechtes Ende, und auch zu Hause lösen sich, wie man hört, alle familiären Schwierigkeiten der Kinder. Die spannende, gut geschriebene Geschichte ist überzeugend konstruiert, die Charaktere sind gut herausgearbeitet, soziales Miteinander wird propagiert. In märchenhaftem Ambiente ist ein höchst reales Abenteuer mit Krimieinschlag verpackt. Kann breit empfohlen werden.. - In der Nacht, in der Mr. Singh aus dem seltsamen schottischen Märchenschloss verschwindet, geraten 3 Ferienkinder durch ihre Suche nach der Wahrheit in große Gefahr.
