Zu mathematischen und künstlerischen Aspekten des goldenen Schnitts gibt es reichlich Literatur. Erwähnt seien nur 2 Werke, das verbreitete Buch von H. Walser: "Der Goldene Schnitt" (hier 5. Auflage: ID-B 24/10, derzeit ist die erweiterte 6. Auflage, 2013 lieferbar). Es gibt außerdem derzeit eine Ausstellung im Berliner "Museum für Kommunikation"; den Katalogband "göttlich - golden - genial" bezeichnet Stephanie Schütz als "derzeit konkurrenzlose umfassende Darstellung zum Thema" (ID-A 48/16). Der neue Band des spanischen Autors kann sich daneben aber doch als überaus preiswertes Werk behaupten. Auch Corbalán beschreibt nicht nur die mathematischen Hintergründe und Ausblicke, etwa bei Fraktalen, sondern befasst sich auch mit den Anwendungen in Architektur, Kunst und Biologie. Vor allem für kleinere Bibliotheken mag der Hinweis wichtig sein, dass der Verlag Librero in ähnlicher Ausstattung und mit einem Preis unter 10 Euro weitere Sachbücher zu mathematischen Themen publiziert hat. Alle sind fest gebunden und reichhaltig mit Diagrammen und Farbabbildungen illustriert (vgl. E. Gracián: ID-A 1/17). (2)
