The study deals with the documentary O processo (Maria Augusta Ramos; Brazil, 2018); the analysis focus on the way certain public images were filmed during Dilma Rousseff's impeachment; framing contraries and contradictories instances, verbal and imagetic discourses organize peculiar ways of showing Brazilian politics on the scene. The re-apresentation of the public image in the film reveals that in order to gain control in the given context, a specific social image needs another one to be presented as a counterpoint.

O estudo trata do documentário O processo (Maria Augusta Ramos; Brasil, 2018), analisando a maneira como determinadas imagens públicas foram filmadas durante o impeachment de Dilma Rousseff, enquadrando contrários e contraditórios. O trabalho concentra-se na forma como os discursos verbais e imagéticos organizam peculiares modos de dar a ver a política brasileira em cena. Examinando como se manifesta no filme a reapresentação da imagem pública, percebe-se que no contexto dado a manutenção do controle de uma determinada imagem social necessita de outra que funcione em contraposição.
