Berlin, 1968. Studentische Proteste prägen das politische Leben Berlins und der Bundesrepublik. Auch Peter, Sohn des Kriminalbeamten Otto Kappe, sympathisiert, sehr zum Ärger seines Vaters, mit dem Widerstand gegen den Vietnamkrieg. Als sein Freund, der Schauspieler Kannnenhenkel, der der Studentenbewegung nahe steht, unter Verdacht gerät, versucht er, dessen Unschuld zu beweisen. Für die Berliner Presse, vor allem für den "Blitz", ist der Mord jedoch eine willkommene Gelegenheit, die Studentenbewegung zu kriminalisieren. Der 30. Band der Kappe-Reihe (nach K. Vater: "Brandt-Gefahr", ID-A 29/17) fängt die Stimmung der bewegten 1960er-Jahre perfekt ein: Den Hass auf beiden Seiten, Studenten und Presse, und die Reaktion der Bevölkerung. Eine Neigung zur Klischeebildung lässt sich nicht leugnen, viele Personen sind nicht allzu differenziert dargestellt, aber das entspricht auch weitgehend dem damaligen Empfinden, das eine starke Polarisierung in der Bevölkerung erzwang. Authentisches Porträt einer bewegten Zeit, die bis heute die Gesellschaft beeinflusst hat. Empfohlen. [Irmgard Behnke]
