Content: The Stone Age in Southeastern Norway. The Academic Program for Stone Age Research at the Museum of Cultural History comprises a general overview of excavations, carried out between 2000–2017, of 430 sites, graves, depots, hunting pits and other sites, and presents a broad and updated report on the status of research relating to the Stone Age (c.
Content: 9500–1700 BC) in the region.Insufficient knowledge has been the impetus for identification of four main areas for concerted prospective effort:• Technology• Settlement and land use• Subsistence and economy• Rituals and their practiceAlso presented in this program for Stone Age research are concrete strategies and initiatives that will contribute to filling in these knowledge gaps, advancing the field, and laying foundations for further research. The Stone Age in Southeastern Norway has been written with researchers, managers of cultural heritage and students in mind, as well as all others interested in a deep dive into our earliest history. This book will be an important reference for planning and carrying out future Stone Age excavations under the museum’s aegis. It will also serve as a foundation for guidelines the museum provides regarding conservation of our oldest cultural heritage.; Steinalderen i Sørøst-Norge.

Content: Our healthcare system is undergoing considerable transformation; standards are changing and established ways of working are being challenged. One change that has consequences for nursing services is increasing digitalization, with new information systems existing alongside paper-based and analogue systems. In this anthology, we have gathered contributions from researchers from a broad spectrum of disciplines and research traditions. Our objective has been to thematicize key perspectives on information and documentation work in the nursing profession during this period of increasing digitalization. We accomplish this objective by focusing on the changing role of the patient, nurses’ record-keeping and important tools that have an impact on quality and collaboration in healthcare services

Content: Reserachers and users of public health and welfare services are increasingly expected to actively collaborate in research efforts. The purpose of this volume is to provide critical reflections on user participation in research on health and welfare services. The book addresses a range of questions - why has user participation become such an important issue? Who are defined as "users", and how should we understand notions like "collaboration" and "participation"? Which opportunities, challenges and dilemma occur as consequences of user collaboration and participation in research? And does user involvement increase the quality and relevance of research efforts? The majority of the chapters in this volume present findings from research projects where user participation and collaboration has been a core concern. The remaining chapters address general methodological and ethical questions and issues - how different forms of knowledge can find their place within a user participation paradigm, and how research quality can be construed and evaluated. The book is written for researchers, ph.d.- and graduate students, but also for users and staff in the health and welfare services addressed in the book

Content: "This anthology examines and elucidates how variation in ability (physical and cognitive) as a human condition impacts participation in religious communities and theology and diakonia as professional disciplines. Functional impairment and disability are meaningful human experiences that are important to explore critically and constructively, in a Norwegian context as well. Fellowship – that everyone is entitled to equal conditions and opportunities for participation in a society – is also relevant in the context of religion, theology and diakonia. Religious fellowship comprises among other things the possibility of being able to choose religious participation and to be religiously active, for example through degrees of association and social participation, employment and volunteer work. Many people have experienced exclusion from participation in religious practices and communities due to specific attitudes or physical barriers. This anthology presents new research on a variety of topics relating to religious fellowship with a focus on equality, human rights and views of humanity. The contributors are from varying fields, including social welfare, public health, social science, literary studies, diakonia, theology and religious studies."
