Nachdem sich der Kabarettist Philip Simon bereits in seinem Programm "Meisenhorst" (IN-1 8/19) ausgewählte Artikel des Grundgesetzes vornahm, diese genüsslich sezierte und sie mit hoch- und küchenphilosophischen Ergänzungen und Erläuterungen versah, widmet er sich hier dem Ganzen. In ungekürzter Lesung zitiert er das Grundgesetz vom Vorwort bis zu Paragraph 146 ("Geltungsdauer des Grundgesetzes") und als Ergänzung noch Auszüge aus der Weimarer Verfassung vom August 1919. Doch Simon wäre nicht er selbst, würde er nicht den Finger in nicht wenige Wunden legen, bei denen Missverhältnisse zwischen beschriebenem Anspruch und gelebter Wirklichkeit bestehen. So wird man fast beiläufig Ohrenzeuge von Verletzungen der obersten Instanz des Landes. Und natürlich verpackt er das in mitunter süffisante Kommentare, die jedoch oft genug eher Betroffenheit als Heiterkeit auslösen. Gleichwohl ist das eine Lehrstunde (bzw. bei einer Laufzeit von 303 Minuten deren fünf) in Sachen kritischer Aufarbeitung eines elementaren, für alle Bürger geltenden Textes - den nur kaum jemand in Gänze kennt. - Außergewöhnlich!
