Kurz vor der Deportation der Ghettobewohner inszenierte der Trupp Szenen wie nach einem Drehbuch. Bildern des Elends im Ghetto folgen kontrastierende Einstellungen vermeintlichen Wohlstandes - eine Theateraufführung, opulente Mahlzeiten im Restaurant, herrschaftliche Wohnungen mit gediegenem Interieur. Die Rohschnittfassung des geplanten Films, ohne Tonspur, ohne Vor- oder Nachspann, blieb erhalten - der Auftraggeber unbekannt. Die israelische Regisseurin Yael Hersonski machte sich auf die Spurensuche, traf Augenzeugen, fand Aufzeichnungen in Tagebüchern von Ghettobewohnern und das Verhörprotokoll eines Kameramanns.
