Mao Zedong's campaign to capture state power in China has long served as the premier illustration of revolutionary warfare for scholars and would-be practitioners alike. Using Mao's "people's war" theory, the author describes the rise and fall of the Communist Party of Thailand (CPT). He looks at the CPT infrastructure, Thai government's response to the CPT, changes in the international situation and the impact of the Sino-Vietnamese split on the CPT. (DÜI-Sen)
