In der Praxis müssen Sozialarbeiterinnen und Sozialarbeiter ständig Verantwortung übernehmen, nicht nur in fachlich-methodischer Hinsicht und im Umgang mit Ressourcen, sondern auch in einem moralischen Sinn. In Teambesprechungen oder in der Supervision hört man häufig Klagen über Überforderung und über Schwierigkeiten, den Bedürfnissen der Klientel gerecht zu werden. Der Artikel diskutiert die Notwendigkeit von Ethik in der Sozialen Arbeit und die Möglichkeiten, durch ethische Reflexion bessere Handlungsentscheidungen zu treffen.
