Abstract:
The Object of Stylistics in Literature Stylistics in literature has tended to distinguish itself from the stylistics of language, leading to a perception of literary style as idiosyncratic. As Goodman reminds us, style implies choosing between differentiated but similar linguistic or literary alternatives.
