The eclipse predictions and the calculations on the calendar pages (excepting the added tide columns) duplicate those in William Goddard's Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland and Virginia almanack for 1787 (Baltimore). Workman's authorship of the astronomical portion of the latter almanac is mentioned in his letter in Goddard's 1788 issue, entitled the Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland and Virginia almanack
