Nach 1945 verurteilt Schweitzer den Krieg und protestiert vehement gegen Atomwaffen. Mit diesem Engagement gerät der Friedensnobelpreisträger zwischen die weltpolitischen Fronten. Seine Botschaft vom Leben als Ganzes ist heute aktueller denn je.
