Leons psychologische Reifung im Zuge seiner Jagd nach dem Mörder wird in diesem klassisch erzählten Krimi gut zur Geltung gebracht. Thriller-Elemente kommen erst gegen Ende der Geschichte zum Tragen. Das offene Ende ärgert - was die beste Voraussetzung für den bereits in den Startlöchern wartenden Folgeband "Neongrüne Angst" ist. Eine 1. kurze Leseprobe findet sich am Ende der Geschichte.
