Abstract:
Two choice-RT tasks were administered to 150 subjects. On a free-response speed choice-RT task, there were no differences between extraverts and introverts in number of correct responses; extraverts, however, produced significantly more errors. In the high signal frequency situation, extraverts performed better than introverts, males performing significantly better than females. The data partially support Brebner and Cooper's concept of stimulus analysis and response organization.
