    Abstract: The gut microbiota plays an important role in human health. In this study, we aimed to investigate whether and how gut microbiota communities are altered in patients with immune-mediated necrotizing myopathy (IMNM) and provide new ideas to further explore the pathogenesis of IMNM or screen for its clinical therapeutic targets in the future. Methods The gut microbiota collected from 19 IMNM patients and 23 healthy controls (HCs) were examined by using 16S rRNA gene sequencing. Alpha and beta-diversity analyses were applied to examine the bacterial diversity and community structure. Welch’s t test was performed to identify the significantly abundant taxa of bacteria between the two groups. Spearman correlation analysis was performed to analyze the correlation between gut microbiota and clinical indicators. A receiver operator characteristic (ROC) curve was used to reflect the sensitivity and specificity of microbial biomarker prediction of IMNM disease. P & lt; 0.05 was considered statistically significant. Results Nineteen IMNM patients and 23 HCs were included in the analysis. Among IMNM patients, 94.74% (18/19) of them used glucocorticoids, while 57.89% (11/19) of them used disease-modifying antirheumatic drugs (DMARDs), and the disease was accessed by MITAX (18.26 ± 8.62) and MYOACT (20.68 ± 8.65) scores. Participants in the groups were matched for gender and age. The diversity of the gut microbiota of IMNM patients differed and decreased compared to that of HCs (Chao1, Shannon, and Simpson indexes: p & lt; 0.05). In IMNM patients, the relative abundances of Bacteroides, Roseburia, and Coprococcus were decreased, while that of Lactobacillus and Streptococcus were relatively increased. Furthermore, in IMNM patients, Lactobacillus was positively correlated with the levels of anti-signal recognition particle (SRP) antibodies, anti-Ro52 antibodies, and erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR), while Streptococcus was positively correlated with anti-3-hydroxy-3-methylglutaryl-coenzyme A reductase (HMGCR) antibodies and C-reactive protein (CRP). Roseburia was negatively correlated with myoglobin (MYO), cardiac troponin T (cTnT), ESR, CRP, and the occurrence of interstitial lung disease (ILD). Bacteroides was negatively correlated with ESR and CRP, and Coprococcus was negatively correlated with ESR. Finally, the prediction model was built using the top five differential genera, which was verified using a ROC curve (area under the curve (AUC): 87%, 95% confidence interval: 73%–100%). Conclusion We observed a characteristic compositional change in the gut microbiota with an abnormal elevation of Lactobacillus in IMNM patients, which was accompanied by changes in clinical indicators. This suggests that gut microbiota dysbiosis occurs in IMNM patients and is correlated with systemic autoimmune features.

    Abstract: During the growth season, jujube trees are susceptible to infestation by the leaf mite, which reduces the fruit quality and productivity. Traditional monitoring techniques for mites are time-consuming, difficult, subjective, and result in a time lag. In this study, the method based on a particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm extreme learning machine for estimation of leaf chlorophyll content (SPAD) under leaf mite infestation in jujube was proposed. Initially, image data and SPAD values for jujube orchards under four severities of leaf mite infestation were collected for analysis. Six vegetation indices and SPAD value were chosen for correlation analysis to establish the estimation model for SPAD and the vegetation indices. To address the influence of colinearity between spectral bands, the feature band with the highest correlation coefficient was retrieved first using the successive projection algorithm. In the modeling process, the PSO correlation coefficient was initialized with the convergent optimal approximation of the fitness function value; the root mean square error (RMSE) of the predicted and measured values was derived as an indicator of PSO goodness-of-fit to solve the problems of ELM model weights, threshold randomness, and uncertainty of network parameters; and finally, an iterative update method was used to determine the particle fitness value to optimize the minimum error or iteration number. The results reflected that significant differences were observed in the spectral reflectance of the jujube canopy corresponding with the severity of leaf mite infestation, and the infestation severity was negatively correlated with the SPAD value of jujube leaves. The selected vegetation indices NDVI, RVI, PhRI, and MCARI were positively correlated with SPAD, whereas TCARI and GI were negatively correlated with SPAD. The accuracy of the optimized PSO-ELM model ( R 2  = 0.856, RMSE = 0.796) was superior to that of the ELM model alone ( R 2  = 0.748, RMSE = 1.689). The PSO-ELM model for remote sensing estimation of relative leaf chlorophyll content of jujube shows high fault tolerance and improved data-processing efficiency. The results provide a reference for the utility of UAV remote sensing for monitoring leaf mite infestation of jujube.

    Abstract: Interstitial lung disease (ILD) is one of the most serious lung complications of connective tissue disease (CTD). The application of proteomics in the past decade has revealed that various proteins are involved in the pathogenesis of each subtype of CTD-ILD through different pathways, providing novel ideas to study pathological mechanisms and clinical biomarkers. On this basis, a multidimensional diagnosis or prediction model is established. This paper reviews the results of proteomic detection of different subtypes of CTD-ILD and discusses the role of some differentially expressed proteins in the development of pulmonary fibrosis and their potential clinical applications.

    Abstract: There are a wide variety of microbiomes in the human body, most of which exist in the gastrointestinal tract. Microbiomes and metabolites interact with the host to influence health. Rapid progress has been made in the study of its relationship with abenteric organs, especially lung diseases, and the concept the of “gut–lung axis” has emerged. In recent years, with the in-depth study of the “gut–lung axis,” it has been found that changes of the gut microbiome and metabolites are related to fibrotic interstitial lung disease. Understanding their effects on pulmonary fibrosis is expected to provide new possibilities for the prevention, diagnosis and even treatment of pulmonary fibrosis. In this review, we focused on fibrotic interstitial lung disease, summarized the changes the gut microbiome and several metabolites of the gut microbiome in different types of pulmonary fibrosis, and discussed their contributions to the occurrence and development of pulmonary fibrosis.

    Abstract: Objective: To examine whether emotional intelligence played a mediation role in the association between parent-child relationship and vocational college student’s creativity, and whether grit moderated this mediating process. Methods: 663 vocational college students participated in this study and completed four questionnaires at three time points, which included measures of parent-child relationship, creativity, emotional intelligence, and grit. Results: (1) Emotional intelligence mediated the relationship between parent-child relationship and vocational college student’s creativity; (2) grit moderated the mediating role of emotional intelligence between parent-child relationship and vocational college student’s creativity. Conclusion: Parent-child relationship had both direct effects on vocational college student’s creativity and indirect effects through emotional intelligence. Grit moderates the effect of emotional intelligence on vocational college student’s creativity.

    Abstract: A modern power system integrates more and more new energy and uses a large number of power electronic equipment, which makes it face more challenges in online optimization and real-time control. Deep reinforcement learning (DRL) has the ability of processing big data and high-dimensional features, as well as the ability of independently learning and optimizing decision-making in complex environments. This paper explores a DRL-based online combination optimization method of grid sections for a large complex power system. In order to improve the convergence speed of the model, it proposes to discretize the output action of the unit and simplify the action space. It also designs a reinforcement learning loss function with strong constraints to further improve the convergence speed of the model and facilitate the algorithm to obtain a stable solution. Moreover, to avoid the local optimal solution problem caused by the discretization of the output action, this paper proposes to use the annealing optimization algorithm to make the granularity of the unit output finer. The proposed method in this paper has been verified on an IEEE 118-bus system. The experimental results show that it has fast convergence speed and better performance and can obtain stable solutions.

    Abstract: Methyltransferase-like 3 ( METTL3 ) is an RNA methyltransferase mediating N6 methyladenosine (m6A) modification. Its role in cancer pathogenesis and progression has attracted increasing attention. However, the immunological role, possible immune mechanism, and clinical significance of METTL3 in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC) remain to be confirmed. The Tumor Genome Atlas (TCGA) provided clinical and transcriptome sequencing data for this study (162 tumor tissue samples and 11 normal tissue samples), while the Immunology Database and Analysis Portal (immport, https://www.immport.org/home ) provided 2483 immune-related genes. METTL3 was substantially expressed in ESCC and linked to poor prognosis in ESCC, according to the findings. Functional analysis revealed that METTL3 is mainly involved in chromosomal homologous recombination and DNA mismatch repair processes, which could be potential mechanisms for tumor disease development and progression. Analysis on the TISIDB website shows that effector memory CD8 T cells, NK cells, neutrophils and other cells are highly correlated with METTL3 expression. We screened immune genes associated with METTL3 by Spearman’s analysis and performed functional analysis. These immune genes were mostly linked with immune processes, such as cytokine receptors, the MAPK signaling pathway, and natural killer cell-mediated cytotoxicity, indicating that METTL3 is a key molecule in the immune regulation of esophageal cancer. In addition, based on METTL3 -related immune genes, we separated the patients into several subgroups and constructed a prognostic prediction model consisting of six immune genes. As an independent prognostic indicator for ESCC, the risk score of this model can be employed. A nomogram was also developed to accurately evaluate individual prognoses based on clinical indicators and risk scores. In summary, this study suggests that METTL3 is not only a potential pathogenic molecule for esophageal carcinogenesis and progression but also a potential biological marker for forecasting ESCC patient prognosis and could serve as a basis for clinical decision making.

    Abstract: Luteal-phase ovarian stimulation has been proved to be feasible for producing competent oocytes/embryos and achieving live births, yet there is no standardized stimulation protocol for luteal-phase ovarian stimulation (LPS). The aim of this study was to explore the optimal timing of gonadotropin initiation in the LPS protocol for poor ovarian responders. Methods This was a retrospective cohort study conducted in the reproductive medicine center of a tertiary hospital. A total of 327 poor responders fulfilling Bologna criteria underwent LPS with IVF/ICSI treatment. HMG and letrozole were administrated after ovulation. Patients were stratified into three groups according to the gonadotropin start day: early, early-mid, and mid-late luteal phase. A freeze-all strategy was performed for all cycles. The duration of ovarian stimulation, total gonadotropin dose, number of oocytes retrieved, implantation rate, clinical pregnancy rate, and live birth rate after frozen/thawed embryo transfer cycles were included for evaluation. Results The group accepted ovarian stimulation in the earlier phase tended to have a shorter duration of ovarian stimulation [8 (7,10) in early luteal group, 9 (8,10.25) in early-mid luteal group, and 11 (10,12) in mid-late luteal group; P & lt; 0.001] and lower gonadotropin consumption [1993.35 ± 720.31, 2282.73 ± 703.38, and 2764.83 ± 722.26, respectively; P & lt; 0.001]. Logistic regression and multiple linear regression were used to assess the associations between the phase of gonadotropin initiation and duration of ovarian stimulation (or total gonadotropin dose) by adjusting for confounding factors. Compared with the early luteal group, longer ovarian stimulation( & gt;9 days) was more likely to occur in the early-mid and mid-late luteal groups, with the adjusted odds ratios 0.584 (0.327-1.042) and 0.116 (0.049-0.271), respectively ( P -trend & lt;0.001). Delayed gonadotropin initiation showed an 113.200 IU increase (95%CI: 70.469, 155.930) per-day in the total gonadotropin dosage. Meanwhile, there were no significant differences in the mean number of oocytes, utilizable embryos, pregnancy outcomes among three groups. Conclusion Although the timing of gonadotropin initiation is not associated with pregnancy outcomes, earlier initiation of gonadotropin therapy after ovulation was associated with a shorter duration of ovarian stimulation and lower gonadotropin consumption in poor responders in LPS.

    Abstract: As a major global pest, fall armyworm (FAW), Spodoptera frugiperda , invaded China in 2019, which has seriously threatened the safety of China's food production and raised widespread concerns. As a new low-volume application technology, an unmanned aerial spray system (UASS) is playing an important role in the control of FAW in China. However, the studies on the effect of the water application volume on the efficacy of FAW using UASS have been limited. In this study, Kromekote® cards were used to sample the deposition. The method of using a sampling pole and sampling leaf for the determination of deposition. Four water application volumes (7.5, 15.0, 22.5, and 30.0 L/ha) were evaluated with regard to the corn FAW control efficacy. A blank control was used as a comparison. The control efficacy was assessed at 1, 3, 7, and 14 days after treatment (DAT). The tested results showed that sampling methods have a significant effect on deposition results. The number of spray deposits and coverage on the sampling pole were 35 and 40% higher than those on the sampling leaves, respectively. The deposition and control efficacy gradually increased as the water application volume increased. The control efficacy at 14 DAT under different water application volumes was in the range of 59.4–85.4%. These data suggest that UASS spraying can be used to achieve a satisfying control of FAW, but the control efficacy of the water application volume of 30.0 and 22.5 L/ha did not differ significantly. Considering work efficiency, a water application volume of 22.5 L/ha is recommended for field operation.
