    Abstract: Some deepwater gas reservoirs with high temperature and pressure have obvious stress sensitivity effect resulting in difficulty in well test interpretations. The influence of stress sensitivity effect on the pressure drawdown well test is discussed in many papers. However, the influence on the pressure buildup well test is barely discussed. For practices in oilfields, the quality of pressure data from the drawdown stage of well test is poor due to the influence of production fluctuation. Thus, the pressure data from the buildup stage is used for well test interpretations in most cases. In order to analyze the influence of stress sensitivity effect on the pressure buildup well test, this paper establishes a composite gas reservoir pressure buildup well test model considering the stress sensitivity effect and the hysteresis effect. Numerical solutions to both pressure drawdown and buildup well test models are obtained by the numerical differentiation method. The numerical solutions are verified by comparing with analytical solutions and the homogeneous gas reservoir well test solution. Then, the differences between pressure drawdown and buildup well test curves considering the stress sensitivity effect are compared. The parameter sensitivity analysis is conducted. Compared with the conventional well test curve, the pressure derivative curve of pressure drawdown well test considering the stress sensitivity effect deviates upward from the 0.5 horizontal line at the inner zone radial flow stage, while it deviates upward from the M/2 (mobility ratio/2) horizontal line at the outer zone radial flow stage. However, for the pressure buildup well test curve considering the stress sensitivity effect, the pressure derivative curve gradually descends to the 0.5 horizontal line at the inner zone radial flow stage, while it descends to the M/2 (mobility ratio/2) horizontal line at the outer zone radial flow stage. The pressure derivative curve of pressure buildup well test considering the hysteresis effect is higher than the curve without considering the hysteresis effect, because the permeability cannot be recovered to its original value in the buildup stage after considering the hysteresis effect. Meanwhile, skin factor and mobility ratio have different effects on pressure drawdown and buildup well test curves. Based on the model, a well test interpretation case from a deepwater gas reservoir with high temperature and pressure is studied. The result indicates that the accuracy of the interpretation is improved after considering the stress sensitivity effect, and the skin factor will be exaggerated without considering the stress sensitivity effect.

    Abstract: Objective. This study aimed to use multidimensional musculoskeletal ultrasound imaging technique to investigate the effect of electroacupuncture (EA) on shoulder subluxation in poststroke patients with hemiplegic shoulder pain. Methods. In this prospective single-blind, randomized, sham-controlled study, thirty-four patients with shoulder subluxation and hemiplegic shoulder pain were recruited and randomly assigned into the EA group or the sham EA (SEA) group. In the EA group, EA was applied to the Jian yu (LI15), Bi nao (LI14), Jian zhen (SI9), and Jian liao (TE14) acupoints. In the SEA group, the EA was applied 15 mm away from the Lou gu (SP7), Di ji (SP8), Jiao xin (KI8), and Zhu bin (KI9) acupoints. Both groups underwent treatment 30 minutes/day, five days a week, for two weeks using dense waves with a frequency of 2/100 Hz. A Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) was used to evaluate the effectiveness of treatment in reducing shoulder pain. Musculoskeletal ultrasound was used to evaluate the changes of measures of shoulder subluxation in multidimensions (i.e., the acromiohumeral distance, AHD; acromion-greater tuberosity, AGT; and acromion-lesser tuberosity, ALT). Both the within- and between-groups treatment effects were assessed. Results. The pain intensity measured by VAS and shoulder subluxation measured by musculoskeletal ultrasound (i.e., AHD, AGT, and ALT) showed significant ( p 〈 0.05 ) within-group difference in both groups. The between-group difference appeared in the pain intensity ( p 〈 0.05 ), while it disappeared in the three measures of shoulder subluxation ( p 〉 0.05 ). Conclusions. Using VAS for measuring pain intensity and multidimensional musculoskeletal ultrasound imaging technique for measuring shoulder subluxation, this study finds that the hemiplegic shoulder pain can be improved significantly by the EA while the shoulder subluxation cannot be. Our findings further reveal the analgesic mechanism of EA on hemiplegic shoulder pain following stroke.

    Abstract: Glioma is one of the most common and deadly malignant brain tumors originating from glial cells. For personalized treatment, an accurate preoperative prognosis for glioma patients is highly desired. Recently, various machine learning-based approaches have been developed to predict the prognosis based on preoperative magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) radiomics, which extract quantitative features from radiographic images. However, major challenges remain for methodologic developments to optimize feature extraction and provide rapid information flow in clinical settings. This study investigates two machine learning-based prognosis prediction tasks using radiomic features extracted from preoperative multimodal MRI brain data: (i) prediction of tumor grade (higher-grade vs. lower-grade gliomas) from preoperative MRI scans and (ii) prediction of patient overall survival (OS) in higher-grade gliomas ( 〈 12 months vs.  〉  12 months) from preoperative MRI scans. Specifically, these two tasks utilize the conventional machine learning-based models built with various classifiers. Moreover, feature selection methods are applied to increase model performance and decrease computational costs. In the experiments, models are evaluated in terms of their predictive performance and stability using a bootstrap approach. Experimental results show that classifier choice and feature selection technique plays a significant role in model performance and stability for both tasks; a variability analysis indicates that classification method choice is the most dominant source of performance variation for both tasks.

    Abstract: A large number of nonlinear loads have an impact on the stable operation of the power system. To solve this problem, this article proposes a nonlinear load harmonic prediction method based on the architecture of Power Distribution Internet of Things. Firstly, this method integrates the characteristics of edge computing technology and Power Distribution Internet of Things technology and proposes a Power Distribution Internet of Things framework applied to nonlinear load harmonic prediction, which provides top-level design for subsequent harmonic prediction methods of Power Distribution Internet of Things; then, considering the electrical characteristics of the typical nonlinear load, the mathematical model of nonlinear load data is constructed based on the harmonic coupling admittance matrix model on the edge side. At the same time, a nonlinear load harmonic prediction model based on dynamic time warping and long-term and short-term memory network (DTW-LSTM) is established in the cloud computing center to realize high accuracy and high real-time prediction and analysis of nonlinear load harmonics. Finally, the simulation results based on the general data set show that the MAE evaluation index of the proposed method is less than 5% in the experimental group, which shows good generalization ability, and has some advantages over the current method in operation efficiency.

    Abstract: Knowledge sharing between enterprises is an important way to obtain external research and development (R & D) resources and keep competitiveness. This paper used a reputation model based on a two-period signal game to explore knowledge-sharing micromechanism between enterprises and key influencing factors of enterprises. The results show that reputation effects are an important mechanism that will make knowledge sharing between enterprises operate effectively. Motivated by reputation effects, even those noncooperative enterprises continue to pretend to be cooperative enterprises for knowledge sharing before the end of the game. Finally, we adopt the analytical methods and conclusions given by the model in this article to analyze opportunistic problems in knowledge sharing among cooperative enterprises and put forward some valuable suggestions on the conditions for the effective use of corporate reputation effects.

    Abstract: The random-pattern flap has a significant application in full mouth restoration (reconstructive surgery) and plastic surgery owing to an easy operation with no axial vascular restriction. However, distal necrosis after flap operation is still considered the most common complication which makes it the Achilles heel in the clinical application of random-pattern flaps. A Chinese medicinal herb named gastrodin is an effective active ingredient of Gastrodia. Herein, the existing study explored the significant potential of gastrodin on flap survival and its underlying mechanism. Our obtained results show that gastrodin will significantly improve flap survival, reduce tissue edema, and increase blood flow. Furthermore, our studies reveal that gastrodin can promote angiogenesis and reduce the apoptotic process as well as oxidative stress. The results of immunohistochemistry and immunoblotting revealed that gastrodin has a role in the elevation of autophagy flux which results in induced autophagy. The use of 3MA (3-methyladenine) for the inhibition of induced autophagy significantly weakened the underlying benefits of gastrodin treatment. Taken together, our obtained results confirmed that gastrodin is an effective drug that can considerably promote the survival rate of flaps (random pattern) via enhancing autophagy. Enhanced autophagy is correlated with the elevation of angiogenesis, reduced level of oxidative stress, and inhibition of cell apoptosis.

    Abstract: Aortic dissection (AD) develops pathological changes in the separation of the true and false aortic lumen, with high lethality. m6A methylation and oxidative stress have also been shown to be involved in the onset of AD. Through bioinformatics methods, three differentially expressed m6A regulators (YTHDC1, YTHDC2, and RBM15) were excavated from the GSE52093 dataset in the Gene Expression Omnibus (GEO) database, and functional enrichment analysis of the differentially expressed genes (DEGs) regulated by m6A regulators was performed. Then, the genes with oxidative stress-related functions among these genes were found. The protein interaction network of the oxidative stress-related genes and the competing endogenous RNA- (ceRNA-) miRNA-mRNA network were constructed. Among them, DHCR24, P4HB, and PDGFRA, which have m6A differences in AD samples, were selected as key genes. We also performed immune infiltration analysis, as well as cell-gene correlation analysis, on samples from the dataset. The results showed that YTHDC1 was positively correlated with macrophage M1 and negatively correlated with macrophage M2. Finally, we extracted AD and healthy aorta RNA and protein from human tissues that were taken from AD patients and patients who received heart transplants, performed quantitative real-time PCR (qRT-PCR) on YTHDC2 and RBM15, and performed qRT-PCR and western blot (WB) detection on YTHDC1 to verify their differences in AD. The mRNA and protein levels of YTHDC1 were consistent with the results of bioinformatics analysis and were downregulated in AD. Immunofluorescence (IF) was used to colocalize YTHDC1 and endothelial cell marker CD31. After knocking down YTHDC1 in human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVECs), reactive oxygen species (ROS) levels had a tendency to increase and the expression of peroxide dismutase SOD2 was decreased. This study provides assistance in discovering the role of m6A regulator YTHDC1 in AD. In particular, m6A modification participates in oxidative stress and jointly affects AD.

    Abstract: Background. Hemiplegic shoulder pain (HSP) is a common symptom for post-stroke patients, which has a severely adverse impact on their rehabilitation outcomes. However, the cause of HSP has not been clearly identified due to its complicated multifactorial etiologies. As possible causes of HSP, the abnormality of both muscular electrical activity and blood perfusion remains lack of investigations. Objective. This study aimed to analyze the alteration of muscular electrical activity and blood perfusion of upper extremity in patients with HSP by using surface electromyography (sEMG) and laser speckle contrast imaging (LSCI) measurement techniques, which may provide some insight into the etiology of HSP. Methods. In this observational and cross-sectional study, three groups of participants were recruited. They were hemiplegic patients with shoulder pain (HSP group), hemiplegic patients without shoulder pain (HNSP group), and healthy participants (Healthy group). The sEMG data and blood perfusion data were collected from all the subjects and used to compute three different physiological measures, the root-mean-square (RMS) and median-frequency (MDF) parameters of sEMG recordings, and the perfusion unit (PU) parameter of blood perfusion imaging. Results. The RMS parameter of sEMG showed significant difference ( p 〈 0.05 ) in the affected side between HSP, HNSP, and Healthy groups. The MDF parameter of sEMG and PU parameter of blood perfusion showed no significant difference in both sides among the three groups ( p 〉 0.05 ). The RMS parameter of sEMG showed a statistically significant correlation with the pain intensity ( r  = -0.691, p  =0.012). Conclusion. This study indicated that the muscular electrical activity of upper extremity had a correlation with the presence of HSP, and the blood perfusion seemed to be no such correlation. The findings of the study suggested an alternative way to explore the mechanism and treatment of HSP.

    Abstract: Objective. This study aims to evaluate the efficacy of moxibustion on joint swelling and pain and the levels of C-X-C motif chemokine ligand 1 (CXCL1), β-endorphin (β-EP) in serum of rheumatoid arthritis (RA) patients and to investigate the anti-inflammatory and analgesic mechanism of moxibustion on improving RA. Methods. Sixty-eight patients with RA were randomly and equally classified into the control and treatment groups. The control group was treated with routine drug therapy, while the treatment group received routine drug therapy and moxibustion. Both groups were treated for eight weeks. The symptoms and laboratory indicators of RA patients were compared in the two groups before and after intervention. Results. Sixty-one patients completed the study: four patients dropped out from the treatment group and three from the control group. Trial endpoints were change (∆) in symptoms, measured by Ritchie’s articular index (RAI), swollen joint count (SJC), and laboratory indicators, measured by the level of CXCL1, β-EP, tumor necrosis factor-a (TNF-α), and interleukin-1β (IL-1β). ∆RAI, ∆SJC, ∆CXCL1, ∆β-EP, ∆TNF-α, and ∆IL-1β in the treatment group were superior to the control group (13.50 [14.50] versus 6.00 [13.00] in ∆RAI, 4.00 [3.00] versus 2.00 [4.00] in ∆SJC, 0.04 ± 0.79 ng/mL versus -0.01 ± 0.86 ng/mL in ∆CXCL1, -2.43 [5.52] pg/mg versus -0.04 [4.09] pg/mg in ∆β-EP, 3.45 [5.90] pg/mL versus 1.55 [8.29] pg/mL in ∆TNF-α, and 6.15 ± 8.65 pg/mL versus 1.28 ± 8.51 pg/mL in ∆IL-1β; all P   〈  0.05). Conclusion. Moxibustion can improve the joint swelling and pain symptoms in patients with RA, which may be related to the fact that moxibustion can reduce the release of inflammatory factors in patients with RA and downregulate the level of CXCL1 and increase the level of β-EP at the same time. This trial is registered with ChiCTR-IOR-17012282.

    Abstract: Objectives . To investigate the mechanism of the protective effect of Zishenwan on pyelonephritis rats. Methods . In the rat model of pyelonephritis, protective effects of Zishenwan, the content of secretory immunoglobulin A (SIg A), and interleukins were detected by ELISA. The expressions of TLR4-NF κ B pathway were detected by Western blot in renal and urinary tract mucosa. The protective effect and influence on TLR4-NF κ B pathway of Zishenwan were studied. Results . Zishenwan protected rats from pyelonephritis which related to the increase of SIgA, the regulation of interleukins, and the inhibition of TLR4-NF κ B pathway. Serum containing Zishenwan can significantly decrease LPS-induced expression of TLR4, MyD88, and NF κ B in vitro . And the inhibition of TLR4 signal by Zishenwan related to the degradation of TRAF3 and TRAF6. Conclusions . Zishenwan protected rats from urinary tract infection by clearance of bacteria and decrease of tissue damage. 20S proteasomes mediated the degradation of TRAF3 which is important to the decrease of tissue damage from Zishenwan.
