In haze‐analog experiments with carbon dioxide (CO 2 )/methane (CH 4 )/N 2 precursors, addition of trace H 2 S increases aerosol production by at least a factor of ∼3.8 In CO 2 /CH 4 /N 2 gas mixtures, high CO 2 inhibits organic aerosol formation. With trace H 2 S, organic aerosol formation is independent of CO 2 Inorganic and organic sulfate aerosol forms when trace H 2 S is present, suggesting that organic sulfur is an important sulfur reservoir
