Abstract:
Le présent texte explore la question de savoir comment la psychologie religieuse génétique de Wilhelm Wundt peut être comprise comme un témoignage de lʼépoque. Tout dʼabord, le travail complet de la Völkerpsychologie ( La psychologie culturelle ), dans lequel la psychologie religieuse de Wundt est intégrée, est considéré. La Völkerpsychologie , d’une part, se révèle être un enfant de son temps, car elle relie les idées psychologiques culturelles de deux courants différents. D’un autre côté, cela signifie que l’approche de Wundt est unique. Dans le dernier chapitre de la Völkerpsychologie en particulier, Wundt devient également visible en tant qu’enfant de son temps en commentant la situation politique et l’avenir de la culture. La psychologie religieuse de Wundt peut également être lue comme une enfant de son temps. Il combine alors dominante l’histoire de la religion avec la psychologie, mais échoue, à mon avis, rendre justice aux phénomènes en les hiérarchisant téléologiquement et en les projetant aujourd’hui dans l’histoire.
