Abstract:
Was ist zu diesem Thema bekannt? Guided Self-Determination (GSD) ist ursprünglich für die Zusammenarbeit in der Behandlung von Menschen mit der Diagnose Diabetes mellitus Typ 1 entwickelt worden. GSD hat sich auch in der Begleitung von Menschen mit anderen chronischen Erkrankungen als hilfreich erwiesen. Wie wird eine neue Perspektive eingebracht? Im Zentrum von GSD steht ein gemeinsamer und geleiteter Reflexionsprozess, in dem strukturiert anhand von Arbeitsblättern an individuellen und komplexen Problemstellungen gearbeitet wird – mit dem Ziel einer personenzentrierten, ressourcenorientierten, und realitätsnahen Lösung. Was sind die Auswirkungen für die Praxis? Menschen in komplexen Problemlagen, die durch eine Erkrankung mit langfristigem Verlauf ausgelöst oder beeinflusst sind, können mit GSD gemeinsam mit professionell Helfenden strukturiert, individuell und ergebnisorientiert ihre Situation reflektieren und zu ihren Bedürfnissen passende Lösungsmöglichkeiten entwickeln.
