Xavier Barral I Altet, La basilique paléochrétienne et visigotique de Sant Gugat del Vallès (Barcelone). Dossier archéologique et essai d'interprétation, p. 891-928. La basilique paléochrétienne de Sant Cugat del Vallès, située à environ 20 km au N.-O. de Barcelone, fit l'objet de fouilles entre 1931 et 1936, qui sont restées pratiquement inédites. La découverte d'un dossier photographique des travaux a permis d'établir un nouveau plan de l'édifice et de publier le matériel archéologique. La basilique se présente d'abord comme une grande salle rectangulaire à usage funéraire; elle sera ensuite transformée, à l'époque visigotique, par l'adjonction de plusieurs absides. Le matériel permet de définir des contacts avec l'Afrique du Nord et la Gaule, puis avec le centre de la Péninsule Ibérique.
