Abstract:
Werkzeug- und Maschinenschwingungen haben nicht nur einen großen Einfluss auf das Verschleißverhalten der Werkzeuge, sondern auch auf die resultierende Oberflächenqualität. In diesem Beitrag sind die Auswirkungen von selbsterregten Werkzeugschwingungen auf die vom Werkzeug erzeugten Oberflächen bezüglich Mikrostrukturen und Konturabweichungen in Abhängigkeit der Spindeldrehzahl für das Planfräsen mit schlanken zylindrischen Fräsern beschrieben. Die Analyse der auftretenden Effekte wird durch eine am Institut für Spanende Fertigungstechnik entwickelte Simulation durchgeführt und mit Ergebnissen realer Experimente verglichen. Kommt es dabei zu einer Übereinstimmung der Zahneingriffsfrequenz, bzw. eines ganzzahligen Vielfachen der Zahneingriffsfrequenz mit der Eigenfrequenz des Werkzeuges, erlaubt dies zwar hohe axiale Zustellungen, der Prozess liefert jedoch nicht die optimale Oberflächenqualität. Weiterhin kann durch geschickte Wahl der Drehzahl eine definierte Oberflächenrauheit erzielt werden.
