Abstract:
Desarrollando un ejercicio de estilo orientado a identificar conceptos tópicos que puedan resultar útiles a la descripción de imágenes urbanas, el autor examina las posibilidades brindadas por la lengua griega para articular diversos prefijos al radical topía, tal como lo hiciera Tomás Moro al crear el neologismo Utopía. Allí puede ya darse una mutación entre los prefijos OU y EU, que remiten bien a la negación («no lugar»), bien a la idea de felicidad («lugar de felicidad»). Michel Foucault, por su parte, creó el término heterotopia. El artículo propone entonces los términos palintopia, holotopia, isotopía, pseudotopía, diatopía, dystopía, y otros como paratopías, architopías, acrotopías, porotopías, syntopías, antitopías. El autor ha identificado lo que interpreta como la atopía de Aristóteles. Dos tipos de «atopía» deben entonces ser consideradas, una discursiva, otra espacial. Las diferentes «X-topias» se presentan como lugares comunes, útiles para una descripción de lugares.
