Abstract:
M. Mangin, A. Bruand, I. Hedley, Ein Kalkbrennofen des Fruhmittelalters in Goux-les-Doles (Jura). Der in Goux-les-Doles in unmittelbarer Verbindung mit einer gallorömischen Stadt entdeckte, gut erhaltene Kalkbrennofen bietet sich geradezu zu dem Versuch an, diesen zu rekonstruieren sowie die topographische Entwicklung seines Standortes zu verfolgen ; dies ermöglicht es auch, die ursprüngliche Funktionsweise aufzuzeigen : horizontale Zugluftherbeifuhrung, übereinanderliegende Öffnungen und nach hinten angelegter Kamin. Einige neue Entdeckungen sowie eine archäomagnetische Untersuchung bekräftigen eine frühe Datierung : das v. Jh. , was die Frage der Siedlungskontinuität in der zwischen dem Forst von Chaux und des Finage gelegenen fruchtbaren ländlichen Region aufwirft. Ein bedeutender Bau aus altchristlicher Zeit rechtfertigt gewiß das Anlegen eines mittelalterlichen Friedhofs neben der heutigen Kirche.
