Abstract:
Le programme de recherche sur la Loire associe, dans un travail interdisciplinaire, l'ensemble des chercheurs travaillant sur le bassin versant. Les études sont fondées sur des fenêtres d'observation où se situent des sites archéologiques à chronologie longue sur lesquels sont enregistrés les épisodes d'activités des sociétés et des cours d'eau. A partir du XVe s., les sociétés essaient de modifier l'espace à leur profit dans les vallées, elles construisent des «levées» et tentent de forcer les confluents des affluents de la Loire.
