Abstract:
Introdução: O contexto da pandemia da Covid-19 na região Norte é preocupante, visto que há falta de recursos para a saúde pública, baixo índice de desenvolvimento humano e indicadores de pobreza acima da média nacional. Objetivo: Analisar a mortalidade por covid-19 nos estados da região norte do brasil: uma revisão sistemática. Método: Esta revisão foi baseada em uma pesquisa sistemática realizada no dia 09 de setembro de 2022 com todos os artigos publicados no National Library of Medicine (Pubmed), Biblioteca Virtual em Saúde (BVS) e Google Acadêmico, por palavras-chave obtidas pelos Descritores em Ciências da Saúde (DeCS) da BVS. No Pubmed, foi realizado busca pelos descritores: covid-19 and lethality and mortality and Amazon and Brazil em “Todos os campos” e na BVS foi por título, resumo e assunto com os mesmos descritores. Resultados: Após a filtragem por leitura de títulos, selecionou-se 35 artigos para leitura do resumo. Nesta etapa, foram excluídos por não terem relação direta com o coronavírus (n=7), sem relação com a letalidade e mortalidade (n=5) e conter outras doenças associadas (n=2) Ao final da coleta foram selecionados 21 artigos. Conclusão: A pandemia do coronavírus na região norte do Brasil, causou impacto de grandes proporções nos estados, mostrando-nos que as diferenças sociais são de grande importância para o acometimento da doença, pois foi a população de baixa renda e com dificuldade de acesso a saúde que mais foram atingidos pelo COVID-19.
