Abstract:
Zwei flächenverknüpfte Al 4 P 4 ‐Würfel, denen zwei P‐Atome an den Ecken fehlen – das ist das (idealisierte) Gerüst der Titelverbindung im Kristall. Das Isomer mit Adamantanstruktur ist nach Rechungen um 30 bis 80 kJ mol −1 weniger stabil. Nach den Ergebnissen von quantenchemischen Rechungen am Modell[P 4 (CpAl) 6 ] läßt sich [P 4 (Cp*Al) 6 ] als Elektronenmangelverbindung charakterisieren, die durch erhebliche ionische Bindungsbeiträge stabilisiert ist. magnified image
