Abstract:
El trabajo consta de tres partes: prólogo, edición crítica de “Poema doble del lago Edem” y comentario. El prólogo subraya la importancia del reciente hallazgo de la versión original de Poeta en Nueva York, donde se encuentra el autógrafo del poema editado, así como los criterios de la edición. El comentario trata del lugar del agua en el poema. Símbolo tanto del origen, representado por la voz antigua que emerge del lago, como del anhelo de participación, sangre que emana del costado abierto, el agua remite a la inocencia y armonía del Paraíso que el poema intenta restaurar
