Abstract:
L’auteur propose de réfléchir à la fête comme une rencontre possible dans la ville postmoderne, un moment d’échange, une expérience et un éprouvé commun face à l’éclatement des temps, des espaces, des organisations et des mobilités, une pause face à la pression temporelle et à la dictature de l’urgence, une temporalité pivot essentielle face à l’effacement progressif des grands rythmes collectifs. Il explore l’événement festif, espace-temps éphémère et cyclique, objet hybride et fractal qui se déploie et change d’échelles, de temporalités, de périodicité, de publics, de sens et de forme. Sûr que la fête a beaucoup de choses à dire à la ville, à la géographie et à l’urbanisme, il propose d’en faire un laboratoire et une plateforme d’innovation urbaine. Il insiste sur l’intérêt du transfert de certains éléments de l’extraordinaire de la fête au quotidien urbain, de l’exceptionnel à l’ordinaire, des temps de la fête à un urbanisme des temps et des sens qui prenne soin de la ville et des usagers.
