Abstract:
Die Autorin legt einen Erfahrungsbericht aus der Lehre des Faches Soziologie an der Freien Universität Berlin vor, der sich vor allem einer Vorfrage der Hochschuldidaktik widmet. Sie untersucht das tatsächliche didaktische Verhalten der Lehrenden, die Beziehungen unter Kollegen und das Verhältnis zwischen Dozenten und Studenten. Gewisse Tendenzen in der Praxis der Lehre werden als Ausdruck einer projektiven Bewältigung des durch die objektiv ungünstigen Hochschulbedingungen verursachten Scheiterns der Bemühungen um Studienreform begriffen. Die Gründe für Tendenzen zur freiwilligen Verschulung der Lehre an den Universitäten werden in den Auswirkungen der beruflichen Konkurrenzzwänge gesehen, die eine fruchtbare Kooperation mit Kollegen ebenso wie echtes Eingehen auf die Studenten verhindern. Die zusätzlichen Schwierigkeiten, die für eine Frau als Dozentin entstehen, werden besonders beleuchtet. Im letzten Abschnitt werden Schlußfolgerungen in der Form von Hinweisen für die Praxis dargestellt, die den tatsächlichen Möglichkeiten der Hochschule mit großen Studentenzahlen Rechnung tragen.
