Abstract:
Zusammenfassung: Die semantische Ähnlichkeit von Gedächtnisinhalten stellt einen wesentlichen Interferenzfaktor beim episodischen Gedächtnisabruf dar. Semantische Interferenzkontrolle ist eine exekutive Teilfunktion des episodischen Gedächtnisses, die mit hohen Monitoringanforderungen und einer erhöhten Mobilisation von Verarbeitungsressourcen (Retrieval Effort) verbunden ist. Der hier durchgeführte Vergleich von Probanden mit hohem vs. niedrigem Retrieval Effort im Rahmen eines semantischen Interferenzparadigmas sollte eine Exploration elektrophysiologischer Korrelate von Retrieval Effort ermöglichen. Dazu wurde ein Mediansplit anhand der Reaktionszeitdifferenzen für eine semantische Interferenzbedingung im Vergleich zu einer Kontrollbedingung durchgeführt. Nur Probanden mit hohem zusätzlichen Reaktionszeitaufwand zeigen eine vergleichsweise Positivierung der EKP in der Interferenzbedingung über frontalen Arealen, die als Ausdruck von höherem Retrieval Effort gewertet werden kann.
