Abstract:
Gemischtes Doppel : Der dimere Eisenkomplex [{Fe(tim)} 2 ] (siehe Struktur; tim=2,3,9,10‐Tetramethyl‐1,4,8,11‐tetraazacyclotetradeca‐1,3,8,10‐tetraen) ist der erste Komplex mit unverbrückter Fe‐Fe‐Bindung. Die Kristallstruktur belegt, dass der tim‐Ligand reduziert vorliegt und somit redoxaktive Eigenschaften hat. Weitere Messungen und Rechnungen bestätigen, dass [{Fe(tim)} 2 ] eine gemischtvalente Spezies in Bezug auf die Fe‐Ionen wie auch die Liganden ist. magnified image
