Abstract:
Di-cyclopentadienyl-molybdän-di-hydrid (C 6 H 5 ) 2 MoH 2 und Di-cyclopentadienyl-wolfram-di-hydrid (C 5 H 5 ) 2 WH 2 lassen sich durch Umsetzung von MoCl 5 und WCl 6 mit NaC 5 H 5 in großem Überschuß in Tetrahydrofuran und nachfolgende Sublimation erhalten. Die durch Lösen in Säuren nach (C 5 H 5 ) 2 MeH 2 + Η ⊕ → (C 5 H 5 ) 2 MeH 3 ⊕ komplex sich bildenden gelben Kationen (C 5 H 5 ) 2 MoH 3 ⊕ und (C 5 H 5 ) 2 WH 3 ,⊕ bilden mit Laugen z. T. wieder die freien Hydride zurück und können daher zu deren Reinigung verwendet werden. Der Diamagnetismus derselben entspricht Edelgas-Konfigurationen, die durch Einbeziehung der Gesamtheit aller Ring-n-Elektronen und jeweils zwei an die Metalle gebundene H-Atome zustande kommen. IR-spektroskopische Befunde bestätigen diese Vorstellung. Dipolmessungen an (C 5 H 5 ) 2 WH 2 in Benzol beweisen einen unsymmetrischen Bau mit vermutlich schräg gestellten, jedoch noch zentrisch gebundenen Ringen.
