Abstract:
Badanie ogólne moczu jest wykonywane w celach diagnostycznych, przesiewowych, do monitorowania leczenia
i/lub oceny postępu procesu chorobowego. Zakres badania ogólnego moczu obejmuje badanie fizykochemiczne parametrów takich jak: barwa, przejrzystość, ciężar właściwy, pH, obecność białka, glukozy, ciał ketonowych, krwi,
esterazy leukocytarnej (leukocytów), azotynów (bakterii), bilirubiny i urobilinogenu oraz badanie upostaciowanych elementów moczu: erytrocytów, leukocytów, komórek nabłonka, wałeczków, bakterii i innych mikroorganizmów,
kryształów, kropli tłuszczu, owalnych ciał tłuszczowych i pasm śluzu. Zaleca się, aby badanie upostaciowanych elementów moczu stanowiło obligatoryjną część badania ogólnego moczu u każdego pacjenta. Jeżeli z uzasadnionych
względów praktycznych nie jest to możliwe, badanie elementów upostaciowanych należy wykonać bezwzględnie w przypadku dodatniego wyniku testu paskowego na obecność krwi, leukocytów, białka, azotynów
(bakterii) oraz w przypadku zmętnienia moczu, nieprawidłowego ciężaru właściwego i zmiany barwy moczu.
