Abstract:
Đặt vấn đề: Đại dịch COVID-19 tác động đến mọi mặt của đời sống kinh tế, xã hội, đặc biệt ảnh hưởng nghiêm trọng đến sức khỏe cộng đồng, trong đó có nhân viên y tế (NVYT) tham gia phòng chống dịch. Mục tiêu: Xác định tỷ lệ trầm cảm, lo âu và căng thẳng ở nhóm nhân viên y tế trực tiếp chăm sóc bệnh nhân COVID-19 tại Thành phố Hồ Chí Minh (TPHCM) năm 2021 và xác định mối liên quan giữa các yếu tố này.
Phương pháp: Nghiên cứu cắt ngang trên 451 NVYT trực tiếp tham gia điều trị, chăm sóc bệnh nhân COVID-19 tại các cơ sở y tế tại TPHCM, thời gian từ tháng 1 đến tháng 4 năm 2021. Bộ câu hỏi DASS-21 được sử dụng để đo lường trầm cảm, lo âu, căng thẳng ở NVYT. Kết quả: Đối tượng nghiên cứu đa số là nữ, chiếm 62,3%. Tuổi trung bình của đối tượng nghiên cứu là 33,3 (±7,5). Kết quả cho thấy nhóm NVYT trực tiếp tham gia chăm sóc bệnh nhân COVID-19 có tỷ lệ trầm cảm, lo âu và căng thẳng lần lượt là 13,1%, 17,6% và 16,8%. Trong đó, tỷ lệ trầm cảm, lo âu, căng thẳng mức độ rất nặng chiếm lần lượt 3,8%, 4,9% và 1,1%. Có mối tương quan thuận chiều giữa trầm cảm, lo âu và căng thẳng ở NVYT (p 〈 0,05).
Kết luận: NVYT có tỷ lệ trầm cảm, lo âu và căng thẳng dao động từ 13,1% đến 17,6% và gặp ở tất cả các mức độ từ nhẹ đến rất nặng. Có mối tương quan thuận chiều giữa trầm cảm, lo âu và căng thẳng ở NVYT. Kiến nghị: Chuẩn bị tâm lý, nâng cao năng lực ứng phó và có giải pháp hỗ trợ kịp thời và hữu hiệu nhằm giảm thiểu tác động tiêu cực của đại dịch đến NVYT là vô cùng cần thiết và cấp bách.
Abstract Background: The COVID-19 pandemic has affectedall aspects of social life, especially seriously affected public health, including healthcare workers who directly providetreatment and careto COVID-19 patients.
Objective: To study the prevalence of depression, anxiety and stress and to examine the association between these factors among healthcare workers who directly taking care of COVID-19 patients in Ho Chi Minh City in 2021. Methods: A cross-sectional study on 451 healthcare workers who directly involved in the treatment and care of COVID-19 patients in Ho Chi Minh City, from January to April 2021. The DASS-21 was used to measure depression, anxiety, and stress in health care workers.
Results: The study revealed that most of the participants were female, accounting for 62.3%, the average age of 33.3 (±7.5). Prevalence of depression, anxiety, and stress among participants were 13.1%, 17.6% and 16.8%, respectively. In which, the prevalence of depression, anxiety, and stress in very severe level were 3.8%, 4.9% and 1.1%, respectively. There was a positive relationship between depression, anxiety and stress (p 〈 0.05).
Conclusion: Prevalence of depression, anxiety, and stress among health care workers who directly treatment and care of COVID-19 patients from 13.1% to 17.6%. There was a positive relationship between depression, anxiety and stress. There is a need of psychological preparation, improving response capacity and effectively support to minimize the negative impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on health care workers is extremely necessary and urgent.
