    Abstract: The paper contains the analysis of the data on major industrial accidents and occupational injuries at the coal mine industry enterprises of Russia in order to reveal statistically significant correlations between the indicators impacting the accident rate and the employees’ death risk level. As the risk criteria, the values of the methane-air resultant mixtures (MARM) explosions frequency and the frequency of the staff exposure at MARM explosions in the mines (observed levels of personal risks) are taken. The Kolmogorov–Smirnov test and Kruskal–Wallis test are used to analyze the categorized data samplings over the period from 2005 to 2016. The authors have defined the influence of relative gas content and hazard of layers regarding spontaneous combustion on the MARM explosions frequency. The regression models that take into consideration the impact of hazardous factors on the risk indicators have been received. The results of the performed coal mines ranging in Russia have been presented according to the level of individual risk, caused by MARM explosions; the received results have been compared with the acceptable tolerable risk level. The relevance of applying the research findings has been shown at the implementation of the dynamic model of the risk-based approach for ensuring coal mines safe exploitation.

    Abstract: The tasks of creation and development of cyber-physical systems are considered. Cybernetic and physical subsystems can be presented in digital and analog form. The physical subsystem that simulates nature is presented in an analog form. Physical subsystems and processes, both natural, in particular, and technogenic, can behave like “things in themselves.” Therefore, the processes of synchronization of analog processes with cybernetics are often difficult to formalize or are not performed correctly enough. This applies to both obvious cases in problem areas of ecology, mining, energy, and in computers under conditions of inappropriate behavior of programs, ensuring the reliability of testing. This leads to the emergence of uncertainties accompanying the integration of subsystems and control in the system as a whole. The nature of analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog conversion in the known representation requires taking into account the features at the level of this class of systems. These problems are considered at the levels of deterministic, stochastic and uncertainty. The well-known models of monitoring, control of a physical subsystem cannot be directly used for control. The development of correct control actions is considered from the standpoint of transforming such models. These models for dynamical systems are represented by differential equations. It is necessary to develop input-output models for the subsequent synthesis of controls.

    Abstract: The issues of innovative development of high-tech industries are considered. The aim of this development is defect-free production. The achievement of the goal is due to the introduction of technological innovations within the framework of the concept of global technological changes, proposed by Carlotta Perez as a development of the theory of Kondratyev’s cycles. The article discusses the statistical and structural approaches for the implementation of technological innovation. A formalized representation of the formation and selection of functionally necessary and functionally sufficient structures is given. The above approaches are considered in relation to the processes of surface mounting of printed circuit boards. The elements of technology and the possibilities of their improvement in the context of digitalization of processes are considered.
