Abstract:
Es wurden 23 verschiedene Pteridinderivate auf ihre Eignung untersucht, als Wachstumsfaktoren für Streptokokkus faecalis R an Stelle von Folinsäure zu dienen. Davon erwiesen sich 10 als wirksam, die sich durch ihr Verhalten gegen Sulfonamide wahrscheinlich in zwei Gruppen einordnen lassen. Der 2-Amino-6.9-dioxy-pteridinaldehyd-(8)-Typ wird in seiner Wachstumswirkung konkurrierend durch Sulfathiazol gehemmt, während der Xanthopterintyp hierdurch nur eine geringe Beeinflussung erfährt, wenn man die Sulfonamiddosis nicht über 100 γ/ccm steigert. Darüber hinaus tritt dann kein Wachstum mehr ein. Ein Ersatz der NH 2 - Gruppe in 2-Stellung des Pteridinkernes durch OH oder SH vernichtet die wachstumsfördernde Wirkung der geprüften Pteridinderivate.
